Hot tub prices vary based on seating, jets, insulation, innovation, and add-ons like cover lifters or upgraded lighting. Hot tub financing spreads out the cost of your spa over time, so you can focus on comfort and performance. It allows many homeowners to bring their backyard dreams to life far sooner than expected.
For those who want to spread out their hot tub cost, Colorado Custom Spas offers two financing structures: a revolving credit option through the Wells Fargo Outdoor Solutions® credit card (issued with approved credit by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.) and an unsecured-loan marketplace powered by Enhancify.
Monthly payment quotes typically come down to a few aspects. Understanding them helps you compare hot tub financing or swim spa financing offers with confidence.
Amount financed
A down payment reduces the balance you finance. Some shoppers pay outright for site prep and get hot tub financing for the spa itself. And we also offer financing with no money down.
Term length
Short terms often mean higher monthly payments but lower or no total interest. Longer terms can lower the monthly number and keep the budget more flexible.
Approval criteria and credit factors
Lenders look at details like income, credit history, and current debt. Enhancify states that checking rates through its process does not affect your credit score, which can help when you are exploring options.
If you are considering multiple hot tub financing or swim spa financing options, look beyond the monthly payment. Compare the APR, the total of payments over the full term, and any origination fees. Review the first payment due date so it lines up with your pay cycle. If you like paying extra when you can, check for prepayment penalties so you do not get surprised later. If a promotional rate is available, read the timing rules and what happens after the promo window ends.
Our hot tub store experts can help figure out the financing option that will work best for you, and the hot tub that best suits your lifestyle and budget.
Approval for financing depends on a number of factors from household income and current debt-to-income ratio, as well as recent large financed purchases (such as a house or car) and your credit score. There’s no specific credit score cutoff for approval, but usually applicants with good to excellent credit have the strongest approval odds. If you’re concerned about your score, checking your rate through Enhancify won’t affect your credit score at all. You can see what offers you’re eligible for before deciding whether to move forward with an application.
Our hot tub financing (through Wells Fargo Outdoor Solutions and Enhancify) covers the spa itself, not any third-party work like electrical or concrete. Those costs are typically handled and paid separately through your own licensed contractor or service provider. That said, Enhancify’s marketplace offers general unsecured financing for home projects, so some customers use it separately to cover site prep or electrical costs alongside their spa financing. We’re happy to walk you through how other customers have structured this.
We offer multiple financing plans, with amounts starting as low as $5,000. You’re always welcome, and encouraged, to place any deposit on your purchase before financing the balance. This reduces your overall monthly payment and gives you more flexibility for longer-term financing plans
Financing approval through our lenders is normally instant. Under some circumstances there may be additional verification steps from the lender, for example if you own a business and your income seems high, or there are additional sources of income that they don’t see from the immediate application. Once approved, financing payments usually don’t start until after the hot tub is delivered to your backyard.
There are no prepayment penalties for paying off your purchase early. We encourage customers to plan payments around finishing before any promotional period ends. For many of our promotional plans, if the full balance isn’t paid off by the end of the promo period, interest is charged retroactively from the original purchase date on the entire amount, not just from that point forward. Once the promotional period ends, standard APR terms apply to any remaining balance.
People sometimes focus on just the hot tub price, then get surprised by the other project costs. As an experienced hot tub store, we help our customers see the full picture so they can make an informed choice. Here’s a quick checklist.
Electrical and placement
Many full-size, full-power spas need a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician. The cost depends on your panel capacity, distance to the spa location, and any trenching required. Placement also affects cover clearance and safe winter access.
Delivery access
If the route includes tight turns, fences, or retaining walls, plan early. A quick look at the path can prevent last-minute changes.
Start-up supplies
Budget for basics like filters, test strips, and water-care products so your first month of ownership stays simple.
