These obstacles can include fencing and landscaping. Having that portion of your fence taken down ahead of time or landscaping cleared will save you a lot of effort on delivery day.
It could also be something as simple as furniture or other outdoor equipment. Simply set those things to the side the day before.
Step 2 of Hot Tub Delivery: Set Up Electrical and Hot Tub Pad
You will want to be sure that an electrician has come out to your home to set up the necessary outlets before your hot tub is delivered.
If this isn’t completed pre-delivery, you will experience delays in enjoying your hot tub.
You will also want to complete your hot tub pad pre-hot tub delivery. Having the appropriate place for your spa to rest will protect it and ensure your investment lasts.

Sometimes a crane is required to lift the spa over the house. You may be surprised to learn that average crane costs are only around $350 to $500. As a courtesy to our customers, Colorado Custom Spas will arrange for the crane to arrive on delivery day.
While the crane’s cost is the customer’s responsibility, we have built relationships with the local crane companies over the years. We will know which company and crane size will be necessary for your special delivery.
In the most extreme situations, a helicopter may be required, and this costs more than a crane but is an excellent option if needed.
